The Water Protector Legal Collective (formerly Red Owl Legal Collective) is a nonprofit organization coordinating criminal defense and civil litigation in Standing Rock, in partnership with the National Lawyers Guild. Your support is critical to our ongoing efforts to provide urgent legal support to the people who are on the ground resisting the Dakota Access Pipeline. Donations of any size are needed and appreciated. There are three ways to contribute:

1. Online 
2. Mail a check payable to "Water Protector Legal Collective" to: Water Protector Legal Collective PO Box 69 300 Collins Ave, Mandan, ND 58554-9998 
3. Charitable tax deductions are available on contributions of $100 or more through our fiscal sponsor, the NLG Foundation

If you are seeking a tax deduction and prefer to pay by check you can make it payable to NLG Foundation and write "Water Protector Legal Collective" in the memo line on the front and mail it to our PO box above. Only donations made through NLG Foundation qualify as a charitable deduction for income tax purposes.
